Tasha Woodall, PharmD, BCGP, CPP graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University and completed a residency in ambulatory care with Mission Hospital and Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) in Asheville, North Carolina. Currently she works as Associate Director of Pharmacotherapy in Geriatrics for MAHEC, co-directs MAHEC’s Center for Healthy Aging, directs a PGY2 specialty residency in geriatrics, and serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Education for UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and an adjunct faculty member for UNC School of Medicine. She practices in two continuing care retirement communities in Asheville and with MAHEC’s home-based primary care program. Research interests include innovative models of care delivery for older adults, enhancing social connectedness for lonely and isolated older community members, and geriatrics education in schools of pharmacy.
