PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Resident
USC School of Pharmacy
Prior to attending the USC School of Pharmacy, Dr. Talin Bchakjian attended the University of California, San Diego, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Anthropology and a minor in Communications. Before starting pharmacy school, Dr. Bchakjian began her pharmacy journey as a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens Pharmacy. Dr. Bchakjian graduated from the USC School of Pharmacy in 2020 with her doctor of pharmacy degree with an area of concentration in Entrepreneurship. During her time in pharmacy school, she was involved with numerous student organizations and held various leadership positions. Upon graduation, she was honored the Order of Arête award, which is USC’s highest graduate honors for her significant contributions in areas of scholarship, leadership, and service. Throughout her time in pharmacy school, she interned at Walgreen’s Pharmacy. Dr. Bchakjian completed a PGY-1 Ambulatory Care Residency at the University of Southern California where she helped patients manage chronic disease states such as Diabetes, Hypertension, and Dyslipidemia. Upon completing her PGY-1 residency, Dr. Bchakjian pursued a PGY-2 residency in Ambulatory Care at USC, where she is currently implementing clinical pharmacy services in the pediatric-medicine clinic at LAC+USC.
