Brandéa T. Hardie is originally from the rural town of Bolivia, NC, She received her Masters in Clinical Research at Campbell University and Bachelors of Science, Neuroscience at East Carolina University from North Carolina. Currently, she is a Doctor of Pharmacy Candidate (2024) at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. Brandéa T. Hardie is an active member of multiple pharmacy organizations and societies, with various leadership roles. Brandéa T. Hardie was awarded the ASHP and the Emily Jerry Foundation’s Medication Safety Scholars Program Recipient 2021-2022; MUSC Dr. Raymond S. Greenberg Presidential Scholars Program 2021; National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA)- Business Plan Competition 3rd Place Finalist 2021; National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA)- Student Leadership Council 2022.
In 2020-2021, Brandéa held positions such as Student Representative-South Carolina Pharmacy Association House of Delegates; MUSC Student Government Association Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion; and Pharmacy Coordinator-Community Aid, Relief, Education & Support (C.A.R.E.S.) Clinic. Brandéa’s interests include medication safety, community pharmacy, and pharmaceutical industry. Brandéa’s favorite quote: “If they don’t give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair”- Shirley Chisholm. This inspires Brandéa to push and continue to perseverance.
