As Vice President of Clinical Services, Jen is responsible for the development of new and maintenance of existing clinical programs to ensure each provides the highest quality of patient care. This requires clinical programs to be based in best practices while also complying with accreditation, payor, and manufacturer requirements. As part of her responsibilities, she works closely with the accreditation, trade relations, payor compliance, and clinical services teams.
Prior to joining Shields, Jen was the Associate Dean for the School of Pharmacy – Worcester/Manchester and Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. In addition, Jen was a clinical research associate for The Meyers Primary Care Institute. She was written or contributed to more than fifty publications, presented over 100 posters, and participated in several Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality grants.
Jen earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and completed a pharmacy practice residency at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
