Annie Tran, PharmD, MBA, BCOP is a Clinical Operations Director in Specialty Pharmacy with AmerisourceBergen. In her role, she consults health system leaders on development and implementation of specialty pharmacy services and programs across all disease states and pharmacy models. Her experience spans from retail, health system specialty pharmacy, pharmacy benefits management and oncology care management, and includes PGY-1 residency training with focus on ambulatory care and retail specialty. To promote the continued growth and progression of this field, she has participated in and authored research studies demonstrating improved adherence and cost savings for patients receiving care through an integrated delivery model. As the specialty pharmacy industry continues to evolve, she hopes to keep health system pharmacy providers at the forefront through persistent advocacy and ongoing education and training of future and new practitioners.
