Dr. Scott Canfield received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy and completed two years of residency training in Specialty Pharmacy at UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Canfield began working at Johns Hopkins Home Care Group in July 2015 serving as Clinical Programs Manager for Specialty Pharmacy Services and has developed and implemented numerous specialty pharmacy service lines. In his current position as Assistant Director for Clinical Program Development, Dr. Canfield is responsible for leading program development with a focus on specialty pharmacy services across outpatient and infusion services. Dr. Canfield also oversees pharmaceutical pipeline and specialty channel management, manufacturer engagement, and expansion of internal and external partnership opportunities within research, patient outcomes, patient care services, and patient access. He currently serves as Chair-elect within the Executive Committee for the ASHP Section of Specialty Pharmacy Practitioners.
