Jesse Dresser, a Partner in Frier Levitt’s Life Sciences Department, chairs the firm’s Pharmacy Practice Group. Jesse’s practice is dedicated to representing pharmacies and pharmacy providers, including community retail pharmacies, chain pharmacies, compounding pharmacies, specialty pharmacies, mail order pharmacies, home infusion providers, health system pharmacies and dispensing physician practices. He represents pharmacy providers nationally regarding issues with payors and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), including PBM audit appeals, network terminations, network access and credentialing applications, and reimbursement issues. Jesse also assists covered entities and contract pharmacies in ensuring 340B compliance in all relationships.
Jesse also represents a variety of entities within healthcare and life sciences, including healthcare providers, pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers, pharmaceutical wholesalers and distributors, and healthcare technology companies. Jesse focuses on the intersection between the law and economic considerations, including drug pricing, marketing techniques, and benefits management.
Jesse is a frequent speaker and author at pharmacy and healthcare conferences and organizations, including the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP), the Community Oncology Alliance (COA), the Community Oncology Pharmacy Association (COPA), the National Home Infusion Association (NHIA), Association for Value Based Cancer Care (AVBCC), the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding (APC), the American College of Apothecaries (ACA), and the American College of Veterinary Pharmacists (ACVP).
Jesse received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law.
