Ashley Duty, PharmD, MS, BCSCP earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Raabe College of Pharmacy at Ohio Northern University and a Master’s of Science in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from Northeast Ohio Medical University. She also completed a PGY1/2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration residency at the Cleveland Clinic. Ashley is currently Director of Pharmacy Operations at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to this, Ashley served as a pharmacy manager at Children’s Mercy Kansas City. In 2019, Ashley became a Board Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist.
Professionally, Ashley is involved with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She is currently a member of the Section Advisory Group on Compounding for the Section of Inpatient Care Practitioners. She has previously served as Chair and Vice Chair of the New Practitioners Forum. Ashley received the ASHP Distinguished Service Award for the New Practitioners Forum in 2019. She has served in the ASHP House of Delegates multiple times. Locally, Ashley is Past-President for the Greater Kansas City Society of Health-System Pharmacists (GKCSHP). She has previously served as President, Membership Chair, and Programs Chair for GKCSHP. In 2021, Ashley was named "Pharmacist of the Year" by the Missouri Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
Ashley’s interests include sterile compounding operations, medication safety, and policy work. She is also very passionate about leadership development.
